Survivor

I started watching Survivor 3 seasons ago when my middle school principle and family friend Debbie was a contestant. She did a great job and made it to the final 6.

I love the strategizing and breakdowns and just how crazy people get when they are living in the jungle for 39 days. I haven't watch any seasons since but I've picked it back up again and the boyfriend and I have been watching the current season Survivor:Nicaragua. I really have not been enjoying this season for the following reasons:

1. I thought young vs. old was a good concept but really didn't work in practice.
2. The old tribe was incredible annoying (Marty, Jimmy T, Dan)
3. NaOnka. While she does provide entertainment, she is an idiot.
4. Sash and Brenda's control. They are smart cookies but really don't like either of them and I don't understand why everyone is following them. I think they would be pretty easy to overturn. 

Survivor:Nicaragua came through for me this week though! The Sash/Brenda team blindsided Marty and the show editing actually managed to not give it away like they've done every other episode this season. With Marty out of the picture I have much more hope for the rest of this season. I'm going to go ahead and make my pick for this season's top 3 and winner. My top three are Sash, Brenda, and purple Kelly. And the winner is.....

Purple Kelly! Home girl has probably only had 10 min of air time and I think she's really nice to everyone and doing a great job a flying under the radar. If she makes it to the finale she'll get all of the votes and win.

One a side note, I finally watched Toy Story 3 last night and it was AMAZING. I thought it was the best of the 3. I laughed, I cried, I ate it up.
