There are two Cams who both hold a very special place in heart.
The first one is this Little cutie and Heisman hopeful and the other is the character Cam Tucker on Modern Family.
I'd like to start out by official declaring my love for this series. I started watching Modern Family on Hulu about halfway through the first season and I've been watching all of the new episodes as the air Wednesday at 8 on ABC as well as watching the rest of the first season on Blu-Ray. This show has the trifecta of comedic gold: excellent writing, suburb actors, and truly touching moments. Every adult actor on the series (minus Ed O'Neal, what were you thinking Emmys?) was nominated in some capacity for an Emmy and actor Eric Streetstone took home the honor of best supporting actor in a comedy for his role as......
Cam Tucker, an ex-music teacher turned stay-at-home dad and life partner to uptight lawyer Mitchel. It is easy for Cam to become your favorite character on the show. He is over the top, kind beyond reason, and brings a larger than life personality to this quirky family. Although tonight's episode did not feature Cam and Mitchel as much, the few minutes they were on the screen Cam made laugh out loud at his attempt to "educate" Lily's potential daycare director about maize.
So to Eric Streetstone, congrats on your Emmy win! You continue to show you deserved it! And to the Modern Family writers, thank you for writing a show that is both hilarious and moving. You continue to restore my faith in quality TV comedies.
