With season 4 of Mad Men finally at a close *tear* I now have two free TV nights (Sunday and Monday). Whatever will I do with all of this free time? Study Accounting? Read ahead for Leadership?...
No, I plan to be a good little TV watcher and catch up on the shows I've been watching on DVD and Blu-ray. Here is a list of what I'm currently working on:
Modern Family season 1: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE (see previous post)
Firefly: There was only 1 season of this show because Fox is ridiculous and cancels good TV (Arrested Development, Family Guy for a little while at least, 24...I guess 24 might have been a little past its prime). Anyway, the boyfriend convinced me to start watching this show and it is a very captivating program with an excellent cast and stories that keep you wanting to watch to find out everyone's secrets.
Alias season 3: The boyfriend also introduced me to Alias (okay, he might have good taste in TV also) and I've already watched the first two seasons on DVD. I love Jennifer Garner and Victor Garber. The first season of this show was incredible and season 2 was also very entertaining but the believability of the show faltered....a lot. I understand that action/spy shows like Alias and 24 must stretch reality in order for events to makes since in an hour long show but things started to get just a little too ridiculous. I haven't gotten too far into season 3 yet but I'm very intrigued by Sydney's missing year. Hopefully I'll have positive things to say about this season and I'll be sure to keep you updated on my progress.
Well, wish me luck with all of my TV on DVD endeavors! I will be sure to use my time wisely.
